While just 70% of American kids and about 75% locally will graduate high school, 90% of Boys & Girls Club members nationally will graduate. The Club provides a learning center and mentors to assist members with their homework, as well as summer learning loss prevention programs. We also provide additional learning opportunities and activities including a fine arts competition, photography, financial literacy, career launch, and more. In Cheyenne, 81% of Club parents ranked the Club at 4/5 or 5/5 with regard to how well the Club helps their child with Academic Success.
Club activities and educational programs help members develop sportsmanship skills and effective teamwork. Through regular mentoring, we also teach leadership skills and the value of giving back to other through our Torch Club, Youth of the Year, Cowboy Ethics, and volunteerism. We seek ways to help our members break out of negative cycles and environments and have encouraged and supported several kids who will be the first in their families to graduate high school and attend college.

Through regular mentoring, we also teach leadership skills and the value of giving back to others. We seek ways to help our members break out of negative cycles and environments. We have provided food, clothing and shoes for the kids in Cheyenne who need us most.
